The TUM School of Computation, Information, and Technology is committed to fostering an open, diverse, and respectful environment in which all members, students, faculty, and staff work together and drive innovation. Diversity and talent development are at the heart of this mission. The Women in CIT Travel Awards 2026 are now open for applications. The programs support dedicated Master’s students and female doctoral candidates at CIT who are committed to promoting women in science or who aspire to an academic career in STEM.
Women in CIT Master Travel Awards
The Women in CIT Master Travel Awards support persons of all genders who are currently enrolled in a CIT Master’s program and are engaged in promoting women in science. The awards fund travel to scientific conferences in Germany between February and September 2026. Students should only register for the conference after receiving confirmation of their award.
Women in CIT Doctoral Travel Awards
The Women in CIT Doctoral Travel Awards are aimed at female CIT doctoral candidates who teach full-time at TUM (5 ECTS). The awards cover travel, hotel, and conference costs for European conferences taking place between February and September 2026.
