Study Anywhere in the World with TUMexchange

TUMexchange is an exchange program that gives TUM students the opportunity to study for one or two semesters at a renowned partner university outside of Europe – for example, in North America, Latin America, Japan, Southeast Asia, India, China, Africa, Israel, or Oceania.
Overview
The TUM Global & Alumni Office is the central coordinator of the program, and applications are accepted once a year in the fall for the following academic year. In your application, you can list up to two preferred universities.
Under the program, there are generally no tuition fees to be paid at the partner university. Different provisions apply only in a few exceptional cases, which are listed in the online database of post-travel reports.
Further information on the program is available from the TUM Global & Alumni Office at TUMexchange.
Information Events
A general information event on TUMexchange for all subject areas is held once a year by the TUM Global & Alumni Office. In addition, there are several online information events for Informatics and Mathematics students every year in May and June. Upcoming dates will be published on this page in good time.
