Studies

The TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology offers the degree programs of the former Departments of Mathematics, Informatics and Electrical and Computer Engineering. Supporting our students in the best possible way and providing top-notch instruction takes center stage in the restructuring of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the ensuing formation of its schools.

To this end, TUM is designing competence profiles for professional careers: the TUM Professional Profiles. They serve as the basis for study programs that are geared to the changing requirements of global labor markets.

The new TUM Schools allow us to organize degree programs more efficiently: Synergies will be consolidated to enable interdisciplinary instruction across the boundaries of the former departments, and innovative technologies and approaches will be integrated at an early stage. Our students thus optimally prepared for a successful future.
