“Given a tuple of geometric functionals, Blaschke-Santaló diagrams describe which values these functionals can attain. We describe the general shape of these diagrams for the inradius, circumradius and diameter in arbitrary Minkowski spaces. Furthermore, we present new inequalities which complete the descriptions of the diagrams for the 1-norm, the 2-norm, and simplicial gauges in 3-space.”
TopMath Talks
As part of the TopMath talks, TopMath students and doctoral students present parts of their research. They provide an understandable insight into their current area of interest, enabling students and staff from different research fields to broaden their mathematical background knowledge. The talks are open to the public and last about an hour, followed by discussion. You are cordially invited!
