About enigame

With logic, unconventional thinking, and team spirit, you can go far in enigame. The challenge is to solve a series of audio, image, text, and cryptographic puzzles. Can your team make it to the top and help TUM secure a top spot?
Participating in enigame is easy and free: just register, create a team, or find one on Discord. Each team can have up to 10 members. Want a preview? The organizers offer a demo with sample puzzles to get you started.
How does enigame work?
enigame consists of around 25 increasingly challenging puzzles, played over two days in three episodes. Like in escape games, your team collects useful clues to find the correct answers and unlock the next level.
The game kicks off and concludes with live streams on Twitch. Great prizes await the winners and there are also awards for the best meme, artwork, and handcrafted item!
More information is available at enigame.de.
The University Showdown
This year’s special feature is another competition: When registering, sign your team up for your university and help TUM secure a top ranking! The best university team will win additional prizes, and the final university leaderboard will reveal where the sharpest minds are.
The team behind enigame
enigame is organized by a team led by Prof. Tim Hoffmann. Similar escape-style games are also hosted by universities like the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA. Are you ready to take on the challenge?
