Three students from the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology want to use innovative technology to make life easier for people who are hard of hearing. They will be presenting their student project Sonovision at the electronica trade fair in November 2024.

With the start of lectures in the winter semester, chatbot Iris is also back in action. She offers computer science students personalized assistance with programming exercises. Several lecturers are currently using Iris in their courses. She thus supports several thousand students.

How can a connection be created between the human brain and a computer? This is the question studied by the neuroTUM student club, founded at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The aim is to make neurotechnology more accessible to students and to help people with physical disabilities.

On July 18, 2025, the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology (CIT) bid farewell to its graduates from the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs offered at the Munich and Garching campuses in the research areas of mathematics, informatics, and electrical and computer engineering.
