Twelve students took part in the 2025 Computer Science Schnupperstudium at TUM, spending three days exploring workshops, lectures, and campus life while gaining exciting insights into studying and researching computer science.

Florian Scherl developed an early interest in IT and Artificial Intelligence. He has been studying Informatics at the TUM since 2022 and, at just 18 years old, has founded his own company "FAST AI Movies". Today, the 21-year-old is recruiting his first employees.

As part of her doctoral research, Dr. H. Ceren Ates, postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Can Dincer, developed and tested a biosensor that can measure antibiotic concentrations. For her dissertation she was honored with the 2025 Bertha Benz Prize and the 2025 Gips-Schüle Young Talent Award.

The German Research Foundation (DFG) is funding the research training group “METEOR”. Researchers from the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) are combining machine learning and control theory.
