Double Degree With the Georgia Institute of Technology
This double degree is not active at the moment due to a redesign of the contract. New applications are possible only after the new contract was signed.
The College of Computing of Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT) and the Fakultät für Informatik of Technische Universität München (TUM) run a double degree program in computer science since 2006. It was funded from 2007 to 2011 by within the EU-US cooperation programme Atlantis.
The program allows graduate students of TUM and GIT to simultaneously pursue the Master of Science Computer Science degree from GIT and the Master of Science degree from TUM. It requires five semesters instead of seven semesters for both study programs. TUM and GIT will transfer credits obtained for courses at the partner university into their own study program.
Application DEADLINE

Students must have finished at least one semester at TUM before they can apply.
