Zeynep Akata, Professor of Interpretable and Reliable Machine Learning at the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology, has been awarded the ZukunftsWissen Prize 2025 by the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and the Commerzbank Foundation for her research.

The Technical University of Munich has risen to 22nd place worldwide in the prestigious QS World University Ranking, making it one of the global top 25 for the first time. Within the European Union, TUM is now ranked as the number one university.
